How to determine if my NM1 is expanded?

New to the forum. I just got a NM1 rack. I'm still in the process of getting my iBook G3 running OS 9.2.2 to talk to it, waiting for a Motu Fastlane in the mail. Hopefully the drivers will work with the old Mac and I'll get to start editing patches (I had purchased an M-Audio midisport Uno which didn't work with OMS, hoping the Fastlane will...)

But I digress... How can I determine if the NM has an expansion board? Is there an easy way to tell without opening it up? And if I do have to open it up, what do I look for?

This can be determined by observing the patch load and the voice count ... but also when the NM Classic is turned on it will tell in it's display whether it is expanded .. the word Expanded then is in the 2nd line of the display.
