Hi Everyone

I'm still quite near the start of my DIY yusynth adventure. So far I've got a Minimoog VCF built and working. Next in line is a pair of VCOs.

I sent away for some LM394s but they're the metal can package, not DIP.

I was assuming they'd be the same in practice, until I noticed some extra internal diodes in one of the diagrams the datasheet (see attached image)

Does anyone know, will my VCOs be OK with these?

The rest of the datasheet is here http://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/8694/NSC/LM394H.html

Yes, they will be fine. The diodes are there to protect the base-emitter junction from reverse bias. They don't have any effect on normal operation.
