Hello, my name is Ryan. If anyone would be so kind as to help me get started I would greatly appreciate it. I have a laptop, focusrite 4i4, mini nova synth and a circuit rhythm. I simply want to make music with all of these together and am clueless how to get it up and running. I also need to choose a DAW as I haven't yet. Thanks!!

Hey Ryan welcome!

As a beginner myself this past year I would advise to keep it simple at first.

You don't need to choose a DAW, your focusrite comes with a free install of Ableton lite. So I would recommend just following the setup instructions for your focusrite and it should get you up and running connecting your instruments to your computer. Then you'll be able to record your music and share it.

Play around with your instruments, read the manuals when you're feeling uninspired musically. and you're on your way.

I think the world of electronic music can feel overwhelming because there are so many choices and options. Keep it simple at first and learn your instruments/devices!
