using the g2 without editor

hello g2 forum, hope everybody is alive and kickin,

i am sadly not, but that gives me some weeks to bond with my g2 again and take patches a step further.

i remember that once a forum member wrote an article about a plenty of hidden module access with the g2 hardware controls.

i wonder if anybody remembers and has book marked this thread, and can point me to it.

of cause i also will follow the RTFM advice, but maybe the article is helpfull to safe some time.

Hey 3phase, I wish you health and happiness.

Are you referring to hidden modules that we can access with the non official editor, like the resonator and driver modules? If yes, after a patch is saved to the G2, no need any editor to play with them.

no, i ment an article that pointed to a plenty of hidden functions of the hardware user interface of the g2, in a quite readable form. its probably all in the manual somewhere.. which i have to read the first time now 😜

I'm more and more curious now! Do you remember what kind of functions the article referred to? Hidden functions for modules? Are they functions available with the editor but not visible with one button on the G2 front panel?

was a list like that but also dived inti editing computer.. and how modules are sorted in that edit mode. i doubt that you can do cable connections without editor..but you can chance modules within a module group, when i remember it right..
