Hello Electro Music forum,

I'm on the lookout for some 6CS7 tubes for a sampling project based on a high-end pickup and a Leben CS-600 (for extracting samples from a number of old records through a Leben RS30-EQ built around two ECC81 tubes & one 6X5T rectifier tube, all of which are New Old Stock.

The aim is to mirror signal processing (amplification) as it was done 50 to 70 years ago, whilst retaining a very high level of quality and low noise levels.

Inspirations are some of the early Motown Recordings and releases from American label Cadet Records, e.g. Dorothy Ashby's Afro-Harping from 1968.

I'm currently using a cheap Motu soundcard, but will upgrade if results are good, which I suppose they will be.

But I'm running low on this type of tubes and thought someone here might have some for sale - even if it's a longshot.

Thanks in advance,

Kasper
