If that's the case, how do I send different MIDI channels to different virtual instrument tracks?
I have been trying to understand how to do that, but just can't figure it out...
The MIDI menu in preferences has just advanced settings and doesn't deal with MIDI ports or MIDI channels...
The virtual instrument tracks have a MIDI channel associated, but I think it's a MIDI Out channel, cause they still respond even if they're receiving MIDI data in other channel...
I see that on Environments you should be able to process what MIDI signal you get into Logic, and you actually can select the MIDI ports you want to use and use a Transform module to filter what messages you want, enough to do what I want.
The problem is, you have to send those signals to the Sequencer Input module, and I seem unable to get one of those per track, which would fix the whole problem...
As is, I can just filter MIDI data, but all tracks will still receive the same MIDI data...

I have no idea what to do now, but I'm pretty sure it should be possible to send different MIDI channels to different virtual instrument tracks.
I really want to learn a bit better how to use my Sequentix P3, and felt it was a great idea to record some tracks with it, using Logic's own virtual instruments, as I would get familiar with Logic this way too.
But without being able to send different channels to different virtual instruments, I can't do anything with this setup unless I record one track at a time, which makes no sense... Sad
