Hi there,
Although it doesn't seem very popular here, I am a big fan of Ambiloop...

Since I recently got a pair of "notebook" computers, I thought they would make a convenient (less bulky) platform to run Ambiloop on. The problem is they have screens of 1024x576 and 1024x600, which doesn't cover Ambiloop normal window.

So I decided to try to reorganize Ambiloop's window by moving stuff from the bottom to the sides. I have edited resources using the Risoh Editor. The resource where it happens is "Dialog" #183.

I had some partial success, but I am not an expert in this field and sorta stuck on a few things. If any gurus could give me advice on the following problems I'd be grateful...

1) Even if I change the "Dialog #183" resource window's size to 700x350, Ambiloop's windows size when launched is always the size of its original screen. When expanded the window still spill outside of the computer's screen.

2) the input and output level bargraph seem to be stuck at their original place (not at their "new" place) and I don't know how to move them...

3) the thack number "LED display" does not show up.

thanks!
Pierre

At the risk of talking to myself, here's a little update on the subject:
I have succeeded in fitting everything in a 1024 x 600 screen. Layout is a little sloppy but it will do for now.
I have a small part of one channel of the level meters skewed at the bottom of the screen, which is enough to be useful (unfortunately they don't appear in the 1024x576 screen)
The level meters are stuck to the position they occupied in the original layout of Ambiloop, I did not find the secret to have them follow the level boxes.
And the track number does not appear in the "Track" box. this is a minor inconvenience.
My latest version included.

When you go edit the post - there is an edit button top right just above the post - you can then click posted attachments.

From there you can delete one.

Does that help?
