I've been successfully running the NMG2 Editor on Parallels Desktop (currently v26) with Win7 since 2022. But this is on a 2020 Intel MacBook Pro (currently on macOS 26 Tahoe). I don't have regular access to an Apple Silicon Mac, but the last time I tried it on an M1, the problem was that although Win7 could see the G2, it required a USB driver and none of the G2 or Nord drivers would install correctly. That was with an older version of Parallels.

Today I see this: "Parallels Desktop now supports USB sharing on Mac silicon, especially with versions 20.3.0 and newer (like P20/P26), allowing direct USB passthrough to macOS virtual machines running on Apple silicon, though it requires macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later on the host for full native support, with some manual assignment needed."

Does the USB passthrough mean that a Win7 driver is not needed? Has anyone tried this with the newest Parallels versions?
