LFO question

hey, looking at this panel layout:

in the LFO the switches have this labels:

- Square | Angular
- Ramp | Tri | Saw

compared to the original layout:
http://www.musicfromouterspace.com/analogsynth/SOUNDLABMINISYNTH/showbigpicture.php?PICNUM=2
which has:

- Ramps | Rect
- Ramp | Tri | Saw

Ramps == Square & Rect == Angular?
and then: could somebody show me which one is which? i'm kinda mixed up here. i would really apreciate if somebody could show me some graphs.

just to be shure that i have it okey, would it be like this:

Square == Square
Angular == Rectangular
Ramp == Ramp
Tri == Triangular
Saw == Sine

and i assume the difference between the square and the rectangular si that the rectangular is pwm?

I think ramp and sawtooth are interchangeable. You have to specify, therefore, if the waveform is a downward or reverse or upward or topwise or whatever definition. I just got a Casio CZ-1000 last week, and I should know the answer to this. The vibrato has 4 waveform choices: the triangle, two ramps, and a square. I just can't remember what they refer to them as. Embarassed

And then, there's "pulse" and "square." Are they interchangeable?

so, here we have it, my LFO switches layout.
i was thinking, how would i use the square/rectangular ? because the other switch doesn't have an "off" position. does this switch, the square/rect overides the other one?

So Its either the square or one of the ramp/saw/tri-waveforms.

At least thats how mine works... But the angular-switch must be set to tri to have the square going...

"angular" must come from "angle", which supports my theory "angular == ramp/saw/tri"

yes, that totally makes sense.
plus, if your sound lab works like that, then there no argument jeje
