Ground connection from synth to mixer

In my synth there will be 3-? frames, containing modules. Each frame has a direct connection to the psu. Hope to keep my power cleaner that way.
Conections are made with bananas.
On each frame there are ins and outs that could be connected to the mixing desk (with banana to 1/4" interfaces).
I thought of giving all 1/4"s a ground connection, but maybe it is better to have just one, going directly from the psu to the mixer (or even the psu of the mixer).
What do you think?

I've got an earth running with everything here.What about when you patch into a borrowed fx box etc?,then your single earth isn't convienent.
Modulars are so hot for mixers,10V swings,that noise isn't a great problem.
Microphone earths are a different matter,everything is better balanced.
With ribbon mics even the lead placement becomes critical.
