Hi!
Mutator.
I mostly do randomize first and then go on by mutating, hand-selecting for populating all rows, then selecting best for the variation slots, crossbreeding to put some flavor in here and there... I rarely find something interesting with interpolation, the least useful in my opinion.
In the last version, I introduced another Adder to lift the ShapeLFO to higher frequencies, that´s why it´s coming out sounding different now (no more techno- sounds I guess). _________________ Something with this universe is somehow perfectly sound and in order. |

Thanks, this is a great honour, Mother!
I am planning to port this patch architecture to VST (or even LAPSDA/jack) on PC somehow, as an exercise for becoming more independant in the future, also to revive my C/C++ programming skills. I may be using Synthedit (modular plugin creation supporting C++ externals) for this, too.
The tricky part will be the shape LFO/OSC.
Full compatibility would be hard too, of course, so I may need to implement some patch mutator functionality too...
I guess it is possible to reverse-engineer? Did I sign something forbidding this ?
The shape modulation seems to be a kind of in-sync phase modulation for some waveforms, maybe using ramp or sinewave.
Comments?
