What is this? What does it mean? Why am I here? So what is the AC DC coupling in the mods section? When you do the "modulate OSC 1 with OSC 2 output" mod. When I flip the switch it drops the OSC way down. It's cool I like it I was just wondering "technically" what it does and if its working right. I modulate OSC 1 with the pulse it makes some cool noises
not sure if its right or not, but I can live with it. Cool

I don't have a SL, but AC coupling means there is a capacitor in the path of the signal to take out any DC component. You might want to do this if you are using audio rate FM to keep the center frequency of the modulated oscilator from being shifted.

DC coupled is required for low rate FM, like you would use with a keyboard or step sequencer. You can convert from AC to DC coupling by just shorting out the capacitor with a switch.

Sometimes it's good to use AC coupling on the carrier input of a Ring Modulator, else any DC offset in the carrier signal will cause a lot of signal leak through.
