Welcome to electro-music.com, Vector Warrior.
Great music!!! I love that style, msybe IDM or something, and you do it so very well. Thanks for stopping by and letting us know about yourself.
Funny noises is the name of the game.
Tell us something about yourself. Your web site doesn't have much in that regard, or maybe I just missed it. |

Thanks for the welcome Yeah, it's more of a webPAGE than a site, just a holding page for my MP3s really.
I'm currently working as a freelance sound designer for films at the moment. Working in my studio in the south of england. I used to do a lot of music for films but i got a bit fed up with it really, it was the point when a director said to me "... well... i like it, but can you use a salsa beat instead... and maybe put in like a fanfare in the middle" that i realised it wasn't for me. So now i just make for myself
But anyway, i think the whole sound design thing has influences my music a great deal, which i guess is the reason it sounds like it does. My biggest problem is that it takes me so much damn time to make anything and i get bored easily...

jeez, can i have some of your jobs?
listening to "waiting for data" nice sound design elements, indeed. don't hold back, man, your design chops will make you stick out in this world.
now "i never saw that coming". gentle. those are real guitars, huh? nice. your stuff is more introspective and flowing than i thought it would be. great beat. GREAT beat. man, you are very talented.
a possible critique (although you already said how much you hate critiques), is that you don't need to repeat things quite so many times. that said, this music betrays a vast variety of production influences. it's very rich that way.
"jfjfjfjjfjjfjjfjjfjfjjjf" or whatever. you love those consonant pitches with dissonant timbres. again, a little repetetive for me, i could use more minute attention to the track from second to second (more abrupt changes). this is just personal taste, however, and i'm sure you'll find some fans here. try introducing yourself at electronicbboard.com, too. some of those folks might like this.
"crazy golf". very aphex twin-y, with the cool piano chops. nice melody/chords. early morning music.
nice to meet you, looking foward to hearing where your stuff goes now. |
