Well I use Windows 7 too, 64 bit, and it doesn't mess with the fonts of the editor in any of my 2 computers. But as you say, if it works, it's only a different look!
Cheers and happy new year too! _________________ Cheers,

Hmm .. I tried win8.1 .. and thought it should work, even that it had worked in the past .. but it does not currently, tried some compatibility stuff, and a reboot, did not work - tried the OS updater as well and that one did see it .. ... have been running the G2s from a Mac the last years ...
Edit: I may have followed the brunov recipe for using his editor on the G2 wrongly ... meaning that there is a plugin driver messing with the Clavia driver .. I vaguely recall doing so a year ago or so. _________________ Jan

Hi,
I'm having a problem with Nord G2's USB link, to my mac pro running OSX 10.9.5
I used the latest editor 1.62, but thought I would follow advice before panicking:
try downgrading to 1.4 editor - Does anyone know where I can find that, or there is any point on OSX 10.9.5..?
After that I will try on a PC and take it from there
(have already tried two USB cables that were working with other kit)
Thanks in advance, and thanks Blue Hell for leading me to this thread.

Pokk! album made on Nord Modular G2 demo software. |
 |
|
Hey all, I have been using the updated Nord Modular G2 software that was compiled to run using Wine on the latest OSX, works like a charm and an easy install: http://www.stage-engine.com/micro-modular-1/
Also, for those who might be interested I wrote and released this album using entirely the Nord G2 demo software, which I highly recommend trying out, great software, very limiting.

Thanks for posting these wine bottles.
Which version of OSX did you use to create these? _________________ Free Tibet. Release the Panchen Lama from prison. Let the Dalai Lama return to his home. |

I used it on El Capitan and just tested on Sierra and it works ok. I might have even had it working on Yosemite before but not 100%. _________________ Repetition. Reference. Reduction.

Does anyone know what the last officially support OSX version was for G2 Editor 1.62 on Mac? I'd like to build a laptop for this and just keep it that way. |

AFAIK, Catalina is the first version of OSX that does not support 32-bit aps at all. So I'd start by installing the version just before Catalina, which I think is Mojave. |
