Yep, and I feel it's a bit gentler on my OSX, actually. Doesn't hog the system as much as the 8 update did at first.

One feature of Live 8 that I don't think has been mentioned is that an anormous amount of sound design and redesign seems to have gone into its presets.

In particular, the presets have been separated from the corresponding FX, and there are a bunch of new FX presets, so you can choose one of each and splice them together.

Yeah, also presets have appeared where there previously where none, as in the Analog and Tension folders (if you use those). I tend to have a lot of fun just using these presets - I think Live packs a lot of power in its sound generators nowadays - less need to go VST hunting.

Might be nice to have.

The members on the Ableton Forum tend to be bloody antagonistic numpties as far as I can tell.
