This forum rocks! bravo howard!

Hi everyone, I'm andrew, have been on and off the nord mod mailing list for a while, more of a reader than a writer, anyway just to let you all know that I've upgraded from micro to engine and it is scary the amount of extra power. I'm afraid of losing my creativity with so many possibilities!

I've RTFM and can't work out if there's any way to change patch without a computer. It's more complicated than the micro modular that's for sure! I've got a little fisherprice midicontroller, maybe that can do the trick? otherwise I'll have to pick up an old laptop. of course one performance may be enough for me to do a whole live set, so changing patch may even be unnecessary!!!

for those interested, there are 3 little digital camera captures of my duracell project in action here:

http://andrediamant.free.fr/video.htm

it's all drums and micromodular, the first one solo, the other two with friends tweaking.

btw, I rackmounted my engine back to front. it looks so understated, no flashing leds and all giving any clues as to where that WTF sound is coming from!

Check in this thread, it contains the info on how to change patches/performances through MIDI from an external controller.
