i really hope i can explain this deadend i always hit when im trying to build my dream seqeuncer in the nord. here it goes-
i am using the notesequencer to control the pitch of my main oscillators, and the trigger/gates below the note sliders(on the notesequencer) to trigger the opening of the envelope. i want the note sequencer to only send a change to the pitch on my oscillators when i trigger the envelope, so when i have a long decayon the envelope, the pitch of the oscilator doesnt change during the decay. know what im sayin? please!!!
an example of what i want to do is here

Can't try here without a G2, but Id think you can use a sample&hold or a track&hold to do what you want.

Connect the yellow sequencer output to the yellow input on the sample/track&hold and the blue signals likewise.

For the sample&hold some delay in the blue signal might be needed (use a note quantizer or a mixer or anything that's blue and can be set to unity gain for it).

The track & hold might give a small glitch, although probably it will be unnoticable. If not use a glide in the blue signal set to some mili seconds.

Jan.

A trick I've used is along with the S/H is to block new triggers and gates with an AND gate where one of the inputs is fed by the envelope via a comparitor. New notes are allowed only when the envelope is less than 1. If you do this in Poly mode it works well. You'll never get a note that's mangled while it's still playing.

Settle, I uploaded a demo patch that might answer your question.
Read the description and download it at this post in the experimental patch forum.

Cool, Zynth. You don't even need a comparator. The AND gate sorta has them built in. Cool

That's a good place to learn this stuff. The basic funcitions of logic gates and flipflops are in almost all electronic tech text books used at community colleges.

check used books sites for digital fundamentals textbooks....when I first started learning this stuff I bought a used one from the 80's for $3.00 and it had everything I needed to understand the logic gates in the nord.
