could it be that "a" stands for amplified (powered) Question though, that would imply the existence of passive monitors (without the "a") of which I have never heard of Wink

The actual model sold is called MSP5a, however pricelists often say just MSP5 for the same thing. I have not heard of a passive version of the MPS5a, but who knows.
