Listened to Dump2000. It has nice thumping and squirpy noises. Hurrah!

EQing seemed a little awry for a dance track though. Not a whole lot going on down below....

Hmm,

true, the mix is still a bit off. I'm listening to the track on a daily basis, and it indeed misses some action in the hi-lows (or whatever).

For me the track came off as a bit of a surprise, it's way simpler and more x0x-style than what I usually do.

Hey all,

as part of my anger management training I did a fine screamer of a track...

Suck my Confusion (Rough Acid Mix)

Which can be found via http://diskonext.kicks-ass.net as well, naturally!

Enjoy!

Gee thanks, disconext! First I have to develop a problem with my stability, though. But after that, I'll make astounding music! Wink

Been listening to way too much and way too old Spiral Tribe mixes...
To say this is a tribute would be overestimating myself, but I was inspired!

The full and gory 10:42, not for the faint of heart: Retro Active Half Life

Or at http://diskonext.kicks-ass.net, of course!

Have fun!

Cookies!

I listened to it all the way. And I like it. Well, maybe there's a minute or two that could be cut out but that's not necessary.

/me hands out cookies to Ponk!
/me warns that the cookies might be dipped in acid

Cut out a piece, yes... where exactly? This is a "live" set, so anywhere but at start or end would be tough... Wink

Well, I thought it sounded kinda "live" (which is a good thing)...

What I meant by maybe cutting out something was that even though this evolves all the way through I'm not sure if all of it is really absolutely necessary. But this is a track that has to be long, no question about it, otherwise it wouldn't work. If you ever record an other version of this, maybe you could drop out some of the ideas you used here and concentrate more on the ones that are the most... erm... important.

Uhh. Now this sounds like I don't like this. But I do. This is a great track as it is. It's your fault that I'm criticizing it, you asked for it! Wink

It's true, though.

Some stuff in there could be way more dragged out, then again, I really love the playing more than the analysis... I might redo it, but chances are that I'll be working on the next track Wink

You're turning into my number one fan, Ponk, cool!

Another track saw the light today. Patterns were made earlier, inspiration came from the three days of party this weekend. Ouch.

diskonext[1101] - Mantoba (19.13) Or via the website, see my signature.

Noize, tekno, nasty. Should sleep.

This last one is very nice. Reminds me of what I love about riding on trains.

Thanks...

I take it as a huge compliment, btw!
