No conversions this time. Enterely patch conceived by a goal. The starting point was quite simple (and patch is simple too). I remember few years ago when it was an usual tricky use to pass a signal coming from a synth in a external gate triggered by a sequencer. This effect was often used to make rythmic pads otherwise impossible to do.
Well nothing more easy with NordModular. One OSC , one Envelope triggered by a sequencer event module and is enough. The rest is common tricky to Pan and delay the sound. I'va add some switches to choose wich one Envelope trigger, the second one has AM triggered too.
This is only a starting point, something that is surely just be done , who knows how many time. But is the first time I obtain exactly just I want

Those pads are awesome. Got to admit, I've got a bit of a thing for rhythmic pads . Sure they're trancy, but they're so blissful... ahhhh
I had no idea the note modules could be used in such a way either. They give the pad a really nice fluffy character. Nice one |

Oh, yes Trance music done massive use of rythmic pads, but they was used also before in many Pop music productions, like TR-808 and TR-909 drumsmachines was started to be used in 80's dance music before and lately in House and now trance music too. Is not the sound itself but the idea who make the sound right in different context.
Thanks for the feedback. |
