Hi Misty,
I like all your noodles, but this one in particular!!!!!
I remindes my to music of the composer L. Nono(one of my favorites!).
Thanx, it's a joy to listen to it.

I like this a lot. Great sounds rich in harmonics.

Also, this is a noodle with variations you can play with while it's playing. A very nice feature.

I like this one as well !

Nice how you set up slot D to control the performances, especially how the slot D variations can be used to store combinations of variations for the other three slots.

Ok now I'm going to listen for a while more.

Jan.

Thanks guys!

Those kind of patches is just why I love my G2 so much!
(you can hardly use them to make a song, but they are so much fun to make and to tweak Smile
I can listen to it for hours... just smoking a joint and keep on
staring at that magic red keyboard which produces the most amazing sounds Smile

@ Roland: got any links where I can hear some of that L.Nono stuff,
I don't know him, but it sounds interesting...

Hi Misy,
In a lot of "classical music" stores they have cd's of the composer Luigi Nono(Italian). But in your case some variation reminded me to a piece for tuba called "post prea-ludium per donau". He wrote a very beautiful string quartet as well. That inspired me to make an electronic version for string quartet with 4 Nord Modulars.

I'm luckey enough to have a copy of that. It's very nice... OT, but I had to say that...

Another OT but please inform me on this, guys...

When I try to open this one, my editor kicks the bucket without any warning. I figure this is Clavia's subtle way of reminding me that I need to buy an expansioncard. So when I do (probably not yet...), it allows even bigger patches? If so, I might eventually consider buying one. You just cannot have enough processing power these days, can you? I wonder what it took to fly to the moon and back...

However, from what I've read I understand that with the 1st generation NM an expansion was just a matter of more polyphony, not patch size. The information I've found about G2 expansion is a bit obscure, IMHO. Luckily, it seems to me that lots of you have "fat" G2's so tell me; what's in it for me?

As I've already mentioned, I love noodles but I refuse to listen to recorded fragments as in most cases it's like judging a naked lady by having a look at a closeup shot of just one nipple, ehm, something like that...

Know what I mean?
