I was just trying to emulate a synth sound I liked on an old Marillion album and I think I have come pretty close, but not sure I have the most elegant solution, especially when it comes to the arpeggiator octave effect.
Anyway, through use of a seq module, limited polyphony, some delay and some pitch glide, I got this, which is ok but lacks a certain something.
Is there a better solution using the front panel arpeggiator?
Marillion clip and patch attempt attached...

I don't know this music, but it sounds like you are on the right track. My guess is they used a delay of some sort, not a sequencer, but the sequecer is more flexible.

I guess there must be some sort of arpeggiator playing unless he's actually playing octaves, but it sounds more seq/arp driven than that.
I suppose if I just turn off any glide, I can use the arpeggiator with more than one voice without those funny jumps you get with glide+arp.
