On the DlyStereo module the smallest time range is 500ms - this use up 36.9% of the patch memory. It would be nice if you could select a lower time range, like 100ms to free this memory if you don't need the long delay time...
The current reason is that I want to use the Stereo Delay as an early reflection module in a reverb patch, and there 100ms would be more than enough - eating up 40% of the memory just for this module seems quite steep.

Yeah that would be nice... but you can build a cheaper stereo delay from the available modules yourself... although good luck with you ER patch! Very Happy

Hmm, I was wondering: Is it possible at all to build a feedback delay (not single or tap) with a delay time (range) less than 500ms? If so, can anyone give me a tip? thanx...

like this? It duplicates the function of the DelayA, you can omit the filter if you don't need the HF damping it provides. Use 2 input mixers if you want to make a stereo version with cross feedback.
Very small delay ranges make it into a feed back comb filter.

this is helpful, ian, but i'm a unsure of how to implement the crossfeedback...

in fact, i was going to make a patch just like this but couldn't figure out how the crossfeedback would work.

Something like this?

(I also added a highpass filter, I always find them useful with delays, especially short timed delays with high feedback)

You should look in the multiplex thread... i and others was experimenting with delays that have lower samplrates...from what i can hear sofar this can be beneficial also for short delays..its just sounds more like the eralies we know..a bit
