Just wanted to announce another website dedicated to the G2. It aimes at the novice patcher and is a collection of tricks and infos on the instrument.
It sure is a work in progress, but in terms of updating you wouldn't want to use a constant module but something from the random group.
http://g2.sebastianberweck.de

The G2-NM transformation chart will move to this page soon, so update your links/bookmarks, please. Missing citations (three, if I remember correctly) will be updated in the next few days.

Everyone here at this great forum a happy new year.

I always celebrate christmas with my girlfriend's parents in a quite town. Nice folks, really, but I need to do something.
Doing websites with these new cms is a doodle and a lot of fun. Goodbye html.
Yeah, cebec, contribute if you want. You're very welcome.

best,
sebber

here's a weirdo patch inspired by looking through the toolbox. the first few variaitions use the scratch fx, it makes everything weird and stuff. mostly, i had the idea of syncing the oscilators for only part of each "note". var 6 is especially groovy, and i did this with just the demo software. sorry, it's messy, unlabled, and has no pretty colors or anything Sad

I changed two things at the toolbox (actually only 1):

normally, registered user of Joomla/Mambo can't submit content. But when sombebody sent a tool to the toolbox and it appeared under the one account I made for all, I thought that's not credit enough. So I HACKED the code (Boy, I'm such a HACKER, I'm such a mf HACKER, man) and you can

register now at the toolbox and be immediately an author.

The other thing I haven't changed is the systematics. The single items submitted so far are so diverse in their range of information that I see no horizon grouping them. I tried so, made up six groups and put topics in there and it just wasn't congruent at all. There was no way to guess: where will the tool I just saw yesterday be?
So I left it as it is, a big bunch of tools with sometimes hooking titles (that proved to be a mistake) and in the chaotic state as it is hopefully just the more creativity-evoking.
Best practice if you want to keep a tool for further exploration is a) sending the link to yourself (see icon in upper right corner of every tool) of printing it out (loosing the patch, though).

People who submitted tools, please PM me.

Best,
sebber

Hi Sebber,

Thanks for this.

Here is your first feature request, in the display# pulldown can we have a 'All' entry that will display everything?

Cheers

Andy

seraph, you're right, where's my fish?

BobTheDog, I'm missing that, too. Especially since the ordering isn't kept. I think that it's a bug and am waiting for a new version. You know, Joomla is only at v1.0.7 (and I will update from 1.0.5 in the next days, maybe it's possible then already).

Ah, my fish are back. Don't know where they were, having a drink maybe?

Hey Sebber,

A big thumbs up for your toolbox, very inspiring!

Thanks

Finally you can. 500 should be enough for now.
