Dumping CC's from controller patch

Hi Guys,

I'm having come difficulty with a controller patch I am doing for the Arturia Minimoog.

When I press shift/patch on the keyboard to dump the CC messages out, the G2 is not sending "midi control send" or "midi automate" CC values.

So I have rigged up a momentary switch to the send of one of the "midi automate" modules and then daisy chained all the others to this.

So now when I click the momentary switch it sends all the CC's which is super.

So now I can press shift/patch and my momentary button and all CC's are properly sent. This is a little tedious!

So I have a few of questions.

1. Is it possible to set the G2 up so that shift/patch sends all CCs for all modules?

2. Is it possible for me to trigger the other modules (switches etc) to send their cc values from my momentary switch?

3. Is it possible to make all this automatic when a variation changes?

4. How do you turn lead into gold?

Hi,

I have worked out how to send the "midi control automate" CCs on var change useing the Status module, so now when my variation changes it sends the CCs, hooray.

So now I am just stuck not being able to send switch values automatically.

Disclaimer: I don't have the G2 here right now, so I don't know if this patch will work.

It uses a cc send and recieve to talk to the device (on CC #12 for in this example), while the midi cc recv maps the value to another controller (#13), on slotA which happens to be midi assigned to the 1-8 switch.

this solution eats up 1 extra controller for each thing you are trying to controle with a switch.

Let me know if this works or if it helps you.

Hi Dasz,

It did not quite work. The values send on CC12 where not in the full range 0-127.

I have modified it to scale the input into the CtrlSend and it works great.
