Thanx Howard& Misty. I've uploaded a new version. So you have to check it out again. And howard, I can understand you like this one. If you look closely, it's(because of the x-mod) 3 times your NM patch Ïmproptu"(sort of) Smile

Hey, you are right! It makes good percussion instrument. I like how you have tidyed it up with a set of general controls. I've got to spend some time studying this patch. Maybe you are onto a way to make the X-mod synth a building block.

All of Rolands drum beats are great for interactive playing. Just start flailing away at the variation button an they make really great wacky beats. I guess the 4 on the floor going through keeps things steady.

I've spend alot of time jamming with this patch and did some little changes...
Each variation has now 24 morph paramaters assigned to the modwheel (I whish we had more then 24... I guess we're spoiled already Smile )
Now you can morph from the original variations to something completly different (and alot of stuff "in between") with just one knob/wheel
* engine users > switch the 1st morph to "knob"
* keyboard users > just move tha wheel! Smile

enjoy!

Thanks Misty and Roland, I'm really liking this one too. Amazing how the morphs change the patch in such a musical manner. I can sit here on one variation and move the wheel to a random position every 8 bars and jam over the top on my keyboard - it's great! I'm also liking the fact that it's a 4 bar loop - the fills on the 4th bar make it all the more interesting cool

Oh Yeah!

People - isn't Clavia's combination of the morphological groupology contraption and the patch variation thingy just neater than sh*t - or what?

Well, if there are any lingering doubts about the power of morphs/variations - just check out Mother's enhancements of Roland's drum patch posted here!

Thanks for your patch contributions Roland and Mother Misty! Very good work all around!
