Patch Archive Forum Now Available

Have you got a really nice patch you'd like to share? Looking for a new patch? We just set up a new "Patch Archive" forum here on electro-music.com.

You'll find the new forum under the "Instruments and Equipment" forum. It is called "Patch Archive". As people start placing patches there, we'll create sub-forums for each synthesizer or program. This is intended for patches for all synthesizers and programs. There are no restrictions.

To place a patch in the archive, simple post a new topic in the "Patch Archive" and use the "Add Attachment" feature to upload the patch file. Describe the patch, and even upload an mp3 file to let us know what it sounds like.

We hope this Patch Archive proves to be a valuable service for our electro-music.com community.

With Waldorf going down, I would like to see a repository for patches, particularly for the Microwave XT. There were some banks of patches made by users archived on the Waldorf site, but it's not there any more.

Excellent idea! Yes... I grabbed most of what was at the archive.. but obviouly something was missing and a few files had permissions set in a way that I was not allowed to grab them.

Another thing... I guess a forum more like the LINKS section is better suited for files like patches.. but... is there any way to have a connection between posts with attachements and something in the style of the LINKS section?
