Fonik, you have done exceptionally well considering they're Schaeffer made, as most designs I've seen done in Schaeffer have been rather drab- too 'scientific' looking imo. Very nice choice of fonts and panel layout geometry Very Happy

looks like...i still wait for delivery.... i liked the concept of a modular modular as a development kit...only problem...you have to build on rather small circuit boards... i wonder if some of the modules are usefull for soundgeneration allready.

Ok here is an update.

System is growing and growing Smile
Perhaps next week i am getting some Cyndustries panels in it with multiples.
The idea is to add another 2 sixpacks and then add wooden sides on it.
It's now powered by a 3A Power One PSU.
Link to fotoalbum.

Although this picture was taken at Modular 2003 in London, the system has only grown another wooden expansion similar to the one shown, it's the best photo of the system.

The 12U SKB contains 2 off SMS MARS modular's and an SMS P7 with a Doepfer MAQ16/3 and a rack of Oakley modules at the bottom.

The wooden cabs house modules from (mainly) Doepfer plus Analogue Systems, Analogue Solutions, Plan B, Banalogue and Voxglitch. Controlled from a Roland 184 keyboard and Doepfer ribbon controller.

There is also another wooden expansion rack three quarters filled at present not show plus another MAQ16/3

Alas the VCs3 is not mine.

Agreed, great times.

It's a shame when Per moved on from TVU and the Modular sessions stopped Sad

I'd love to get over for the European modular gathering this year but all my leave is booked for a trip in September.

My Salamander (SMS) system. Not particularly portable; doesn't get as much use, since the Buchla came to town:

Instead of banking it, I blew a small inheritance on a 200e. I may not be able to retire, but I can make a racket.

Here's proof about the racket:

Fantastic setup. Can you tell us a bit about the 200e configuration that you have and how you interact with it using your laptop? Just a short description would be appreciated. I see you have a "DJ" style controller there so you can X-fade and cue up sounds then fade them in.

Nice !
