Cheers Yeah interest has died down, and all but a couple of people on the preorder list got their boards! Just in the nick of time too...only three boards left, minus your order! So only two more boards up for grabs until someone builds one and I send out an order for more of 'em!
Orders are going out Monday |

Nice one, appreciate all your hard work.
Im just putting the finishing touches to my x0xb0x, then going to finish a mixer psu im working on, then by the time it arrives, i should be able to get it built fairly quickly hopefully.
Obv need to build an AR and VCA in the meantime - they look pretty straightforward.
Cheers

Yay! That was fast
And, ONLY ONE BOARD LEFT, people!
Like I said above, once someone builds one and gives some feedback on the board design I will go about ordering some more boards!
And, you're very welcome Paradigm! It's been fun, and I am in school for Electrical Engineering so it's an excellent addition to my resume ^_^ |

Aha. In the mail today I got a clear plasticky square with a lot of wiggly metallic lines on one side, and strategically placed tiny holes. Looks to be of Canadian origin.
Thanks to Hex and Ryk for doing this. I doubt I will be first to build this thing, but I look forward to the day I get to it. Looks like a very useful project indeed!

Yay! Glad to hear they're arriving nice and quickly
Ah yes, many thanks to Ryk for designing the thing and having input along the way. It's a very nifty module!
Well, I am just bloody swamped with studying right now! I think I have to wait until tomorrow to get these boards shipped (for all those that have ordered over the weekend) - sorry!
I will post back once they're shipped |

Yep, IT has arrived!
No component stuff on the non-solder side...wasn't suspecting that. I'll like really need some documents to do this. But I'm in the middle of a huge stack of other stuff right now and haven't even begun looking for parts on this project. So, like I'm in no rush really.

Sweet!
Oh, I thought it was pretty clear that they were hobby-style boards! There is a nice component overlay image in the .PDF instruction manual on the first post of this thread, attached at the bottom of the post for you to download The manual includes bill of materials, assembly guide, overlay, panel wiring, etc. - everything you need to build it should be contained in there. |

Ah, cool. Hadn't gone back to look at the front page in a while.
However, I can tell I'll have some questions once I get going on the Bentley design...someone will need to make a LHH Bentley logo in hpgl format, too _________________ Looking for a certain ratio since 1978 |

Haha...you beat me to it
He speaks the truth! They're all gone...well, actually, there are two missing somehow. I think I accidentally packed 2 extra in someone's order. Good one, huh? lol... so, either someone will be super lucky and get 2 extra boards or I will get a return to sender-ed package due to weight limits and have to re-mail it to them.
It's kind of like the Willy Wonka golden ticket! There just might be an extra one! Not nearly as exciting though
In any case, if you are bummed you didn't get one/some and think you would be interested down the road a bit (a couple weeks+ manufacture time of about a month) then please send me a PM and let me know! |

Um...I can think of several other things that could have happened to the missing boards:
1) Ninjas
2) Alien abduction ([edit per mig27]) The truth is out there!
3) Confiscated by covert Homeland Security forces (you'll know this is the case if you attempt air travel and find out you're on the no-fly list)
4) The Rapture
5) The Church Police
6)

Wow! It's absutively wild to see the sale having gone SO well for Hex!
I must lay out a huge apology for not having written the MANUAL for it yet! I've been on a long 'hiatus' / brain resting / getting away from it all, until just a couple of days ago when my brain finally, 'woke up' again. (I.E. back into electronics mode of thinking.)
There's been a fair bit keeping me away, with my fiancée's mum passing away; fianceé's MAJOR operation in early March, day's after the passing as well as planning for our June 11th wedding (as well as hopefully, our nephew and I being ready to play live (without her knowing until then) at it. She's still recovering from the surgery and wont be back to work for at least another week. Thankfully though, her recovery though slow, has been improving, steadily.
During all of that - it's been almost impossible to get downstairs to the shop, to work with my own Liquid HiHat-Bentley to WRITE the manual. (Also - playing World of Warcraft again for 2 straight months, to 'escape' from everything.)
Looks like I'm 'back to normal' ( ) though, as I've been intensely mentally working (again) on my Moog 960 clone, for the last few days. Back in action.
So - with heavy rain forecasted for this coming weekend, I'm hoping that'll be allowing me enough free time to finally get downstairs to begin working on things again.
If so - I'll start taking notes whilst working with my LHH-Bentley, to get back to writing the manual for it.
Talk about delays. Again, I apologize hugely for that, to everyone involved.
Talk about the pleasure it were to me, to hear (in a video) RFeng's LHH playing away! That's the first time I've actually heard, someone else's. And that, was really wild!
I hope everyone enjoys the Liquid HiHat and/or the Bentley modified version, as much as I have in coming up with it. |

RYK!!! Yay
I was beginning to feel a little lost at sea without you!!! xD
Hey man, take your time! When you get a chance have a look over the manual I constructed and posted on the first post in the thread's attachments at the bottom - let me know what needs adjusting!
Glad to hear things are getting better |
