I know it’s not quite easy to swallow, but a friend who does AI dev asked me to give it a chance.
It’s just the same as digging through forums and data sheets, like digging crates to find the prize overlooked. Asking the pertinent questions gets pertinent results. I feel like it’s cheating to just share what’s already been discovered by the dedicated community, so I just wanted to bring it to attention.

I just asked how to use CMOS IC only to create audio rate circuits. From there it suggested how logic could be applied to expand the circuit. The oscillator turned into vco+4017+4051+4040+4017
This was because I asked about expanding sequencing, it was suggesting r2r adc and logic gates from that

What happens when you ask for a schmatic diagram?

That's the part I'd be interested in.
I think with the right training data it should be able to come up with some efficient designs that might not even make much sense on first glance.
Could be limited component count or a limited variation in components. Maybe when you don't have certain chips or they have become obsolete
it can create substitute circuits. You could do something similar to those sites with recipes where you enter the 'ingredients' and see what can be
made with it.

Also schematics that look like other things similar to those AI generated QR codes or in different art styles like baroque or cubism.
That could also be fun to use for PCB layouts.

That's a facinating idea. "give me a PCB layout for a Lunetta oscillator circuit in the style of this Jackson Pollock" artwork.
