The characters responsible for Thelonious Moog.

Steve Million is a very fine jazz pianist who has recorded several albums of his own style of Thelonious Monk-influenced jazz for many years, on both the Palmetto and Blujazz labels. He has been a finalist at the International Thelonious Monk Piano Competition and his current Blujazz recording, Poetic Necessities, is getting a ton of airplay on jazz radio, not to mention great reviews in many jazz publications. He gigs regularly and teaches jazz at Benedictine University in Chicago.

Joe "Guido" Welsh is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and engineer who has recently rekindled his love of analog synthesizers and the noises they make. He earns a living writing corporate event music for the likes of Wal-Mart and records and produces many varied styles of music and artists in his Nashville studio. In 2002, Guido released a roots rock disc of his material under the name Lucky Man Clark, that featured many rock legends. Guido continues to write, record, and produce in a wide range of musical styles.

Guido and Steve have known each other since 1979, when both were living in Kansas City. Steve was a hard-working jazzer, and Guido was a known performer/studio cat in KC at the time. Steve eventually worked many hours in the studio at Chapman Recording where Guido was an engineer. There are many wonderful recordings from their work together around 1986.
