ARD keeps on getting features that puts it ahead of netOctopus, Timbuktu and VNC. ARD is also VNC compatible so you can control any computer that is running VNC.

The limited edition - for controlling max. 10 macs remotely is USD 299. This one is perfect for that small business, but home studio owners will probably want the unilimited version which is 499 USD.

One issue that is important to understand is that apart from the 10-user limited edition, with the full unlimited version you can manage any number of client computers — there is no per-client charge. Absolutely all macs have an ARD server built-in already as well as a VNC server. And if you don´t need ARD 3, you can already connect for free to your 200+ macs using any free VNC client.
