Hi Folks !

Here's some more experiments in JI. This one is a small piece based on a 5 note scale (Thanks to 7/4 ! Smile This is also a popular raga in Indian music called Hansadhwani...which literally means 'call of the swan'. I made a short lullaby kinda piece. Theres just so many ideas in it to explore, maybe I'll delve into them later.

Swan Song

Hope you like Smile And, oh, this one's safe for babies Smile (I think ) I have to find out a nice drone patch to go with this.

K, later ! Smile

Swamy

Yes, you can hear that JI makes this kind of single key melody much more pleasant than standard equal temperment. Very nice. Makes me want to get out the manual on my Kurzweil and figure out how to do the JI myself. Wink

That's real nice! The echos are a cool touch, I didn't notice them the first time.

I've been playing around with a harp patch lately. Harps have such an amazing sound.

Check it out, Kurzweils are pretty flexible with tuning.

Some are, but apparently some aren't. I just poured through the manual for the PC2x and nada about alternative tunings. Crying or Very sad

Ah! Sorry to hear that. Sad

Fortunately, there are inexpensive used Korgs out there. Idea
