I'm currently on a one-Magnetic-Fields-album-a-week diet, but the triple CD I got this weekend ("69 Love Songs" - overdose!) felt like cheating, so I'll hold it up for a couple of weeks.

2 DVDs:
Koyaanisqatsi and Powaqqatsi
by Godfrey Reggio
music by Philip Glass
thumb up
maybe the best integration of visuals and music.

I just bought Peter Frankl playing Debussy on CD

Funny, because it was Tomita that got me into Debussy, now I much prefer the piano versions Embarassed

Today -
Bauhaus - Go Away White
M83 - Saturday = Youth
Cut Copy - In Ghost Colours

My music choices are less than academic, but I have to keep in mind that I will be playing over a speaker system to a bunch of "hipster" customers all day. Keeps me young I suppose.

I also found a website full of old "wave" music. Stuff that was never released or has not seen the light of day in almost 30 years! All released on vinyl!
Woohoo!!

I got hold of "Children's Corner" about 20 years back on vinyl. It was on the American label 'Turnabout'.

I've only got Vol.1 of the CD's. Is chilren's corner on vol. 2?

Glass performed behind a showing of Koyaanisqatsi at an IMAX theater in Harrisburg near here a couple years ago. I had other commitments, but I sure would have liked to make that one.

I have over 20 PG cds, but never could get into Koyaanisqatsi. (He did autograph my copy of "Einstien on the Beach"!)

Yup, I know. We both ordered it pretty much at the same time. I got it some days ago actually. Fast delivery! I´ll buy more CDs from Paradigm.

It's futurist music. Really super. Cool
