Posted Image, might have been reduced in size. Click Image to view fullscreen.
My problem is very easy : i have 3 sound patch in slote a b c.
In slote D i have the module above , it works fine.
But..... when i put one groupe of modules (column slot A) in a patch and change Chan from Slot A to "This" , it does not work.
Is there a bug (it should work!?) Question
Does such module not work in the same patch where it is defined ?

I have noticed this too...It makes me curious. I think it is designed to be this way intentionally...If you are using the MIDI cntrl snd module to send a changing control value within the patch, it is irrelevant...you could just route the changing control source into where your MIDI cntrl rcv was going to be routed. If you are using a single midi cntrl send module to control multiple knobs, sliders, buttons within a patch, it makes more sense to use morph groups.

Although...one instance where I can't think of an alternative to using a MIDI cntrl send within a patch is using a control source for automatic knob movement...if the "This" option worked in this situation, (or if there was another way to do it I am overlooking), it would be great because you could load the patch into any slot and it would work properly.

I fell into this trap. ‘This’ sends the data to external MIDI on whatever channel this slot is set to. Only the SLOTA-D options rout data internally. Not a problem in a performance because you know what’s loaded and which slot it is. Lets hope a future update gives us a ‘SLOTn’ or ‘Self’ option so that pch2’s can take advantage of MIDI self control.

I guess it's the not-so-good graphics resolution of the pic. It's probably just slot B without the lines on the left and on the bottom. Or it might be a G2XXL Very Happy

Hey, you have discovered a new feature of the forum which I have installed about a month ago. If pics are too wide for the screen, then they are automatically scaled down to fit. If you put the mouse over the picture and click, it'll open a new window and you'll see it in its original splendor.
