Hi, SoulState!
I usually compile main part of the code for new models to compare them with Nord. Otherwise, pch2csd gives you csound code, ready for realtime or offline...

I have a G2 Demo. If i convert patch from it, can i make it polyphonic?
And do you have some audio demos or comparisons of converted patch sound to the real G2 somewhere on souncloud or youtube maybe?

Sure. You can build Nord patches using demo, and then they can be as much voices as possible for offline render. In RT sure it depends on your PC power.
Thanks for the idea about YouTube/SoundCloud demo. We should definetely do this. Right now we are close to finish of OSC section, so it will be the first demo.
We can connect in Telegram, and I can provide the use cases and several basic how-to's.

Hi folks! Long time no see. I am finally on my vacation after all.
So here we have a new update - some bug fixes and all 5 units from Sequencer group are done.
We continue to reverse some units from FX group, and also I plan to advance on Envelopes.
As always - any questions, suggestions etc are very welcome! see you soon!

G

PS the picture with Nord's units is not related to the its right side. It is just to show that we did a lot of test prior to posting it here)

Hi people!

Meanwhile the digitizer is online. I've personally never used it, but anyway let it be. As you may see, bit reduction works fine (see for bottom LFO waveforms). Rate reduction gives slightly different results (e.g. the parasite amp modulation is different for upper waveforms). My theory is that the Nord sine wave has some higher (in)harmonics, which in turn leads to more harsh outcome under sampling rate reduction. Maybe later I will try to research more.

Until next time!

BTW modules table on github is not sane for now. We will fix that soon. Also, installation procedure changed. See for more details on github.

Hello everyone, especially the people who created the pch2csd project.
I am extremely impressed with this project.
At what stage is this project currently on a scale of 1-10?
When will it end?
