Reboot again to same main drive after some 60 secs. More is ok too. I want the OS to open new files and close these again. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"
Afterwards the app will suggest a restart. That is cool.
Shut down the browsers while Onyx is running. No email.. nothing.. just watch it do the work. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"
ok i'm downloading the latest version of onyx for tiger now........
Anyone remember the rap group onyx? I used to love them in middle school. _________________ Lets get it!
When this is done you can look into the reinstalling or whatever with Edisonrex.
BTW: Do you have any old QT components installed? Like old ones for AC3 and stuff like that? _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

Nope.. but then I´m probably too old. I bought the classic VDGG stuff when it was fresh. I really loved the first Roxy Music album. The second was cool too. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

I remember them, but I was nowhere near middle school! Rap didn't exist when I was in what we called Junior High in those days.
I was playing reggae at the Vermont Reggae Fest, starting about 1987. I still think old school reggae was the root for rap, although it's arguable.
Oh yeah, I played my last Reggaefest in 1993. I did a lot of crew work for them too. It's not explainable in this context.
Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled rescue mission. _________________ Garret: It's so retro.

The first Roxy was like 73 I think? I bought it in 73. I think the second one.. which was a tad Krautrockish ( ) came in 74. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"
BTW.. the new VDGG reunion is fun. The band is a trio now. For some reason Jackson is out for good.. until the next reunion at least. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

you're right. They were ahead of their time too. Now that I think of it. I listened to it first on the radio when I was 14, so that was 1974. And my 14 year old kid was playing Smoke on the Water on his iTunes today.
I'll get him to hear Highway Star when I can find it again.
Ah well. _________________ Garret: It's so retro.

OK. so we knew that the original crash was on a thread that allegedly was on a VST plugin load. Which is suspicious since we're not sure there were VST plugins in use. Anyway.
If after this ordeal with the disk checking is done, you still bomb on the project load, please make a new project, and then try to load pieces of the old project from it.
This isn't that hard, but I do ask you to save the new project often. I know it's a 17 minute long project, and I know you have scads of audio files. Yes, you will have to import them. It's nothing after all of this, trust me.
Anyway pumpkin time approaches for Edison, but I will be back online after sleeping, and checking in. I get up early, actually
I'll stay up a bit longer just to see if you're on track.
That is, if miraculously the project opens after all of this. _________________ Garret: It's so retro.

let EdisonRex decide... but if you do.. it might be cool to manually delete some of the DP files. Some installation scripts are a bit sloppy when stuff is already on the disk. Some shit might be deleted by the installer and some other shit kept.. I dunno what the DP installer does in this case.. this is general info.. manual deletion of files and bundles and stuff that might rot is smart..
"Don´t trust anyone"
