I have looked a the recorded midi track in cubase and inside the one track there appears to be different notes and different lengths, I ASSUME this is the sys ex info?
Then how do I save this as .sys or how ever it is saved like? |

Maybe there aren't many Cubase users here to answer your question. I use Sysex Librarian on a Mac. I hear PC people talk about MIDI-OX all the time. Maybe give one of those a try. |

I've not done any sysex on PC, but I believe you are looking for this:
http://www.midiox.com/
Good luck with it. |
Yep- you can't beat this program.
It's free, does sysex transfers, and lots of cool mapping features. |

With MIDIOX, you need to go to Preferences and set the rate to 80% or you'll get overload.
Dang, it's been too long, anyone else know this program? |

I do. I haven't had the overload problem before.
I do usually allocate the largest buffers possible, and as many as it will allow, just to ward off buffer overflows.
I've never had Midiox crash.
I've done sysex dumps that are around 500-600kb, without a hitch. |

Thanks cappy. I remember having had to set the Mac as I'd stated, and then it worked quite well. |
