Wow! that's only 3 weeks?
Look at those paws. Jarok will be a big dog. Nice looking, both him and your son. _________________ Garret: It's so retro.

Thanks for the photos, really enjoyed them. Yep, he's going to be a big dog for sure. And quite striking. Don't think I've seen that breed in a color that close to white. Is that a puppy thing or will he stay that color?
Um... are you sure he doesn't have some Great Pyrenees blood in him? _________________ The question is not whether they can talk or reason, but whether they can suffer. -- Jeremy Bentham |

I was told he's a Golden Retriever (he's got pedigree and everything). he was given to us by some friends who bought him and only afterward realized the man was allergic to dogs. Instead of bringing him back to the breeder they asked us if we could "adopt" him, so to speak, and we could not refuse such an offer. _________________ homepage - blog - forum - youtube

He said 3 months. Still, he's going to be a big one. Goldens are very sweet and mellow; this one looks that way.
My dog, Zuzu, seemed to grow at top speed until 9 months then started to slow down. At 1 year she was pretty much finished growing. I understand different breeds grow at different rates. _________________ --Howard

I have problems getting these images to show in the browser. Is it because the files end with.jpe? Would it be possible to register that extension as a synonym to jpg?
Some from previous times this year:
Edit: Changed inlined images so that there is a greater chance that they might actually show

Yes that would be possible I think but then the browser, at least my browser, would not know how to handle 'm - this is extended JPEG?
edit : let me do a test :
edit again : anyone who can see the image above?
and another edit : I can't find jpe handlers for fire fox, nor for internet explorer - I think it's too soon to add jpe support maybe.
and yet another ... : this seem to be ordinary jpegs to me, why not rename them to jpg ? _________________ Jan

Your son looks very much like my nephew- a strikingly close resemblance when he was at that age.
My Dad has been raising Weimaraners most of his life, then training them as bird dogs. He recently got a pup that is also growing incredibly fast. He can see the growth almost from week to week. It's funny to see them at such a young age, because they haven't quite got their coordination yet, but pretend that they do |

You're right, as always. It works when I click to that URL in blogger, but if I cut out one of my URLs above and paste it in, it downloads before showing up in a local viewer app. These images are uploaded directly to blogger from my camera mobile, so to change the filenames, I need to download them, change the name, then upload again. I'll do that later. Thanks.
Aw, shucks. Now I can see a correct version of my image in your test post in the "Topic Review" that I see below as I am writing this. That showed up as a question mark in a blue square before. I'll look more at this in the morning, I think.

And now the image shows up nicely in your test post. I'll try changing to html tags instead, like you did... Thanks for the wise words!

No luck. I guess since I tried out that picture, the browser remembers that that is an image and shows it accordingly. The others still are question marks. I think that when I click the image in blogger it maybe sends some extra info somewhere that tells the browser it's an image.

Yes could be, the web server serves all content with an associated type (the mime type). For jpeg files this is image/jpeg, a server configuration file (mime.types) maps the mime types onto file extensions.
So what might help is to change that config file a bit, that's something Howard would have to do though. I see that my local server here does map .jpe files onto image/jpeg by the way and this is not something I type into it, it's a default ... hmm ... let me try something ... I turned on JPE extensions as type image for uploaded files, that doesn't work tho ... oh and I fixed your colors in a previous post
Edit: I ran a check on my local server with a jpg file I renamed into jpe, with my server settings my browser accepts the jpe as an image alright.
Another test :
I can't check this myself, as this points back to my own IP, so please report, locally the ref. to the pic is OK.
more edit : I can see the jpe through a proxy server Ok as well, meaning it should be visible above for anyone (but me). True? _________________ Jan

I see it too. Thanks for checking things up. Don't put too much energy into it, though - we're not talking sensational pieces of art, and no one else seems to be having this problem.
Cool new avatar!

...ramona got me a usb microscope. a toy (which can be had from academicsuperstores.com for about $90)...of course i immediately decided i need to start looking at professional gear. in any case, here are a few 200x bee pics. there are fx in the microscope software, which is how i did the negative/blue effect...which i think looks cool. pics are of bee fur, bee feet, and a pollen basket.
