Interesting.

Great fun.

Once, in another time space continuum, it seems, my friend Jack Tamul and I would go down to the college's orchestra rehearsal room and play on all the percussion instruments down there.

IMHO, watching percussion groups like this is very instructive because it shows an effective style for music that is very appropriate to electronic musical instruments. The musical palette of electronic instruments is vastly larger than percussion, but the stylistic and structural challenges are nearly identical.

I was impressed by this group's excellent phrasing in the excerpts that I watched. Too bad the audio on most internet video is horrid.

Agreed. Most internet video sound quality IS horrid. However, much effort is being put into 'HD' viewing through youtube. Great for those with nice big internet connections and large screens.
