Here's a video of project ruori performing "sparrow" at electro-music 2007:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=BxQNWvGvBPc
- smokris composed the music and performed live audio treatments.
- ashley mokris played electric viola.
- tariq vasudeva recited texts written by bbinkovitz.
- bbinkovitz mixed projected video live. video sources were filmed by smokris, bbinkovitz, robert vance, brian shotzbarger, and alexander mouton.
- ryan behner shot video of the performance, which was edited by bbinkovitz and smokris.
All audio was produced live from ashley's electric viola and tariq's larynx.

I must admit, Ashley brought me to tears at one point during the show...if you like this video you really must see the whole performance.
Smorkis, do you remember seeing me at the Kraftwerk show? I was like ,"wow, you're that dude from Project Ruouri"...
Unfortunately we were both late to the show and missed Man Machine and others...very lame. But they played Vitamin later on in the show and that was really, really awesome and it also was totally sweet. |

Thanks, destroyifyer. We might eventually put together some more videos like this. Also, we put together a compilation of live recordings from our performances at electro-music the last few years --- check out Start With Breakfast.
Yeah! I remember seeing you at the Milwaukee Kraftwerk show. According to my calculations, we missed:
1. The Intro (beepy noises and speech-synthesizer)
2. The Man-Machine
3. Planet of Visions
4. Numbers
5. Computer World
:^(
However what we did get to see was in fact quite awesome. Especially "Showroom Dummies" and the accompanying films. |

Yes, I agree wholeheartedly.
We're used to bands starting 30-40 minutes late here...it's kind of an American standard if you think about it, heh, they must have started right at 8:00.
Oh, yeah it was great. Trans europe express was awesome, with the train going through the mountains...timeless. |

This was a great set in 2007. Look forward to seeing and hearing Project Ruori in 2008. _________________ -- Kevin
