let's say there's a external midi controler with limited number of knobs. can modulars be configured in a way, that controller's knobs CCs on one midi channel are assigned to some parameteres in patch (ADSR on osc1) and the same knobs on another midi channel control other parameteres (for example ADSR on osc2).?

Wit the G2 you could, using MIDI modules .. not with the NM Classic though ... unless using some external MIDI remapping / processing tool.

i suppose if you really wanted to do this you could manually change the midi channel on the micro modular (i think its the 2nd knob + shift) while changing the channel on the controller. maybe a bit too awkward..

Can your controller not be set to send different dials on different midi channels, many can. My Ozonic for example is set-up with the one dial set to controller 70 on midi channel 14 (for switching variations on my nord g2) regardless to what the rest of the Ozonic is midi channel assigned to.
