looking for collaborators for ipod touch or iphone only |
 |
|
so i have this idea to do collaborative work with others, if interested, utilizing only the ipod touch or iphone. with whatever music or sound apps doing whatever.
its really just of a spur of the moment idea i'm having right now but those are the ones i like.
i'm thinking either having individuals send me source material to perform against in a recording setting or live setting for that matter. kind of duet or assemble. maybe a virtual band of sort.
material can be sent via email(wav. or mp3) or snail mail on cdr.
ideas are always welcome.
whats everyone's thoughts on this. would anyone here be interested.
i have no interest in specific directions. i'd like to make it based on whats been given to me or given to you.
here is my email address:
mattaggart@gmail.com
this would be something i'd like to release too. i might bring back my podcast Noise from the Big Sky(have a series for this on it) or possibly a proper cd release.
but anyways eager to hear from you all about this. _________________ pcrv.harshnoise.com

I'm always up for a collaboration, but I've been under the weather lately. I couldn't possibly put this on my plate at the moment, but maybe in a month or two. _________________ --Howard

Hey Mattaggart, sounds like a cool idea!
You know you can post the results right here on electro-music.com. We can also advertise the CD from the front page of this forum too

mosc, i a few months is cool with me. i have a tour coming up so i'm busy right now too. but i've been utilizing the touch with a digitech jamman. creating some very nice(if i dont mind saying) stuff with those two items. so when you can please feel free to send me something.
v-un-v, glad you like it. i would post it here or sell it here too. not much of a capitalist so its hard for me to get money from others but i will definitely post it as they come. please join in too if you have either devices.
i like the idea of duets more than using multiple people's material. i think thats the angle i want to shoot for.
when i get off my ass i'll post some of the solo material i've been doing. maybe this weekend i'll have a chance.
plus i've been in the noise scene for many years and i'm looking to branch out to other people and genres of electronic music. _________________ pcrv.harshnoise.com

Well, I like this idea as well and would like to compose something as well. AND when there is material posted, I would like to play it on my "Soldering Musician" show here on electro-music radio
OK, it's not solder but who cares
Nice proposal ...

hi matt
getting into this discussion a little late.. but i would be interested in collaborating with you or others as well.
I have posted a few ambient soundscape itouch experiments Here that you could use to do a short mix collab with.
I will be posting more as time goes on as well. I could also send you .wav files if you wanted.
