This one started out as a simple, over-modulated PM noise generator. I made 8 variations then duplicated into 4 VA’s. The noise is enveloped and variation changes are triggered at random bar intervals, so not all 4 noise generators are heard at once, well, maybe sometimes. The variations also have a S&H module selecting random values on each load so that the same variation will sound different each time it is selected.
Because the basic patch is quite small (DSP wise), I have put some carefully chosen sub patches in the four FX areas. This illustrates the difference between an expanded G2. In this prf, the total DSP and MEM for each slot (add the VA and FX figures together) does not exceed 100%. On an expanded G2, you could get twice as complicated with up to (but not exceeding)100% in each area.

Enjoy (or not)

Hmmm... nice beat, nice twists, it even runs on my minimalistic G2 engine...

Yep, I enjoyed it!
