It would be very helpful if you post more than just a link to mp3.com!
Such as, introduce yourself and describe your music.
It's a hassle to use mp3.com, they make you enter all your personal info just to listen to something. |

Yes, I agree with EGW. I don't mind giving mp3.com my personal information, but every time I go there I have to do it again. They have a very poor verification system on their form as well. You can enter totally bogus names and email addresses. _________________ --Howard

I gave mp3.com some more bogus info and got to hear retro's music. It's techno, house, dance and the like. There's quite a bit there and the quality seems very good. Everything moves along to a beat in 4/4 time, nice sounds, easy to listen to.
I don't know a lot about techno. Maybe retrosynthetic may help to turn us on to this genre.
Retrosynthetic, thanks for joing the electro-music.com forums. Did you do it just to put up a link, or do you want to discuss your music with us here? _________________ --Howard

Hello Everyone,
Thanks for taking the time to listen to my music. In case anyone didn't get a chance to see the artist profile on my mp3.com page, my name is Sean and I've been making electronic music for about 8 years. I use a variety of instruments: synths (including virtual midi synths and analog modeling synths), sound modules, guitars (acoustic & electric), percussion / rhythm samplers & samples to create my music. I try to give my music a unique flavor by sequencing original sounds and new instrument combinations. I also try to vary the types & arrangements of beats in each song. If anyone is interested in the details of the software & hardware I use, let me know & I'll elaborate.

Yes, what software do you use for the final compositions? And, more importantly, Who are your musical influences? What are the best ways to learn more about techno? _________________ --Howard

Hi Sean
I support anyone who tries to do something unique!
Too much music these days is just an attempt to emulate something that has become popular. |
