Audio issues with Reaper and Ninjam

HI All,
I just set up a private Ninjam server and I can connect as well as my friend. The trouble is that we cannot hear each other in reaper.
We have added the reaper plugin and all seems to be good. awe can see the VU meters moves in Reaper to show there is signal this way. Our metronomes are in sync as well to show server connection.
We have been talking on messenger while trying to resolve this but to no end. Except a n aching back and neck from the hours spent on it lol.

I have gone over all the settings a hundred times I feel and I have it all set correctly.
I feel that I am missing something somehow.

I am on a MacBook Pro.

Any help is really appreciated.

I cannot thank you enough for your help on my issue. It mis resolved though I have other questions about using reaper but that is not on you lol.
