Andromeda future availability? |
 |
|
Hi There
I have been wanting the Andromeda A6 for a long time now and I still cannot afford it. Damn! Hopefully I'll be able to afford it within the next year. Until then I'll have to stick with Reaktor 5.
I would like to ask you if you think that the Andromeda will be available for years to come? I mean it would be terrible if they suddenly stopped producing it after I've been wanting it for so long!
Please calm me down...
Btw more mp3's please!!! |

the meanings are devided on this:
some say there is no sign of stopping the production, however prices are less then halved since the release of the A6, and i nowadays see advertisments of real big music stores selling them for a 2100€ with a notice "3 left"
that at least makes me think.
if possible i'd certainly wouldn't take the risk as it's very helpfull to get the guaranteeperiod to make the chance you'll end up with a good instrument much bigger. ( b.e.problems with propertuning of (some of the) voices by example have been describes more then a few times, and mostly to really fix it the chip of that particulair voice has to be replaced. costly if the problem is discovered after buying a secondhand one, although always possible afcourse to fix it.
the chips cost about 20€ each, it'll take about 45 minutes of labor to replace/ a full soundboard replacement about 400€ plus the labortime needed)
so to make a long story short, yes i believe that the A6 is actually running out (if i would bet i'd say a year on the most ), but afcourse no one can predict the exact future. |

Man that's bad news! We don't know ofcourse but I must have a new one so I'd better start saving up for it.
If anyone knows more about it please let me know now and in the future. |
