Good news and bad news |
 |
|
The good news is, I just bought a G2X. The bad news is, I just bought a G2X. I bought it used from a gentleman in New Jersey. Now I just need to figure out the best way to get it to Toronto, and get a bunch of other projects done so I can play with the G2X when it gets here.
I've never heard or seen or played one of these in the flesh, I bought it based on the incredible resources available in this forum. I'm planning on reviewing the manual, studying some of the patches available here and lots of general fooling around.
The only downside is I may end up living in the garage for awhile, after my wife finds out.

I've just realized the full extent of the damage, the dreaded WAT. For those of you in Europe (and in Canada, where it's the GST), there is a VAT, or value added tax. It's basically a surcharge on everything you ever want to buy or do or whatever else. In my case, the WAT or Wife Added Tax on this synthesizer will amount to the value of a new couch.
So, although I thought I got a fairly good deal on the G2X, it may turn out to be close to full retail!

I am quite sure your wife considers the G2X a very pricy HAT (Husband Added Tax) on her sofa _________________ homepage - blog - forum - youtube

Seraph, you may be correct. Should be a nice couch.
