Hallo allemaal

I've build a new patch based on the Virus TI2 Hypersaw
You can load this patch in a performance to get more layers.
That will reduce the voice amount ofcourse.
This patch is made with Expanded NMG2

PAGE A1: Detune, Transpose, Finetune, Volume
PAGE A3: Layer1 Layer2 Layer3 Layer4 Layer5 Layer6 Layer7 Layer8
PAGE C1: AMPenv Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release
PAGE C2: FILTERenv Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release
PAGE C3: MODenv Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release
PAGE D1: Cutoff, Res, Poles, Cutoff2, Res2, Poles2, Distort, Routing
PAGE D2: Dual Cutoff, DistGain
PAGE E1: 3 Band EQ On/Off , Lo, Mid, MidFrq, Hi, Peak EQ freq, Gain, Bwidth
PAGE E2: Delay amount, (L) Clock, Time, FB, FLT LP
PAGE E3: (R) Clock, Time, FB, Flt LP , , , Master Volume

Give me your opinion
i would like to know if i could reduce memory somehow.

Thanks!

sadly there was no memory left for an LFO.
i might try patching a monophonic lfo from the fx section.

Hi Chrono!

Have you fix the OSC phase issue into the "Virus TI Hypersaw + Filter Routing" patch ? Is it your "G2-> Virus A" update (but now for the Virus TI) you spoke some time before? I'm very concerned about this problem.

I will check this Virus TI patch tomorow. Smile

Quote:
NMG2: if u trigger a melody with just 1 key pressed at a time
the phase jumps around like changing its position everytime you press another or the same key.

Virus A: if u trigger a melody with just 1 key pressed at a time or repeat the same note. the phase moves without jumping to different positions.

I have the same issue. It's hard to obtain a sound who need VCO sync as in phase re-trigger with the NMG2.

I don't want to put all topic on top... just to say into this one than your G2 Unison.pch2 is very good too. Very close from the Unison on the Virus!

Thanks for your reply,

I've been working with Reaktor a lot, figuring out certain algorythms/tricks etc

The main thing i found to beef it up is by microtuning each voice individually.
Wich means every note you press has a slightly different tune wich cancels out annoying phase artifacts when like playing a simple saw and press 2 notes in octave. or by setting the Amp env release up.

I have not yet did this with the NMG2. Can have a try and see if it works.
