1.24 WARNING

Hidden deep in the bowels of the ReadMe file for 1.24 is a comment that the feedback characteristics of the Stereo Delay have been changed.

Boy, is that an understatement!

What once resulted in a moderate echo now results in extreme feedback noise. I guess this is an improvement.. it's now easier to get extreme stuff from the Stereo Delay - but if you are usintg it in any patches, THEY WILL DEFINITELY NEED TO BE ADJUSTED!

Thanks for the warning. I had also seen the description, but am still in doubt whether to update or not. Your post doesn't make things better Confused

My take on it is that unless you've got some pressing need not to update, like a gig or something, then update and get it over with. Sooner or later you'll have to face this. I don't see any choice but to keep up-to-date on all of my music software, but I know there are people who disagree.

Yeah I was always dissapointed with the stereo delay feedback, so I'd normally use full feedback and a bit of Xmod too. I feel your pain jamos, I had to go through and readjust quite a few patches.
